Best pork skewers in town. The skewers comes with adequate portion of french fries. No need to order extra. Bread is amazing. Friendly staff. Sitting outside option only. No beef option. No pita or gyros as well

Order comes with lemon, fried potatoes and bread. The ketchup is very sweet. They also sell a bbq place. Open late and crowded with people from nearby bars. Appeared like a very local scene. Not much available seating.

Elvis themed late night skewers with piles of potatoes on the street corner next to Karameios bar. Great vibe to sit on the sidewalk and have a beer with a freshly grilled pile of skewers and potatoes.

What a fabulous gem of a restaurant, perched in the old town. Probably the most memorable lunch we have had while in Athens. Super relaxed atmosphere and soak in the local flavour and hospitality. Staff attentive and great local cuisine. From the vine tomatoes, the Mousakka and the lamb cutlets some of the best. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great ambience and traditional Greek food! Our hotel recommended Psaras to my husband and I during our first trip to Greece. We dined here on our first night in Athens and felt like it was a restaurant you see in the movies! It was a perfect first night in Greece with tasty traditional Greek food and a lovely ambiance!

We had heard so much about this place we expected more. Food was decent, not amazing. We got a table on the roof which had nice views though the tables on the steps looked equally pleasant (plaka is such an atmospheric area).  The grilled octopus and the lamb were both decent, but the sides weren't great, especially the potatoes. Our favorite dish was the fried cheese with the honey. That was the one thing that was spectacular.

It’s incredible place for very kind service and very attentive personal. Prices are less the in all Athens roof bars. People are nice. Music like at good chill bar and little bit dancing. 5 stars from me, really ❤️❤️❤️

You can imagine why this place is very busy on weekends. The queue was very long, going all the way down the stairs. You definitely need to book. But off course, you come here for  the view. Food and drinks are not that memorable.

Great location to enjoy the views of the Acropolis with very good Mojito and ice cold beer. Ordered a pizza that was quite delicious. Did not actually expect it to be that good! Try it you won’t regret it

Made a reservation for two at Hytra. We paid about $150 each with a tip. The food was outstanding. The service was first class and the drinks they paired were delicious. One of us did the wine pairing and one did the cocktail pairing. I would highly recommend eating here when in Athens. There is also a wonderful rooftop view of the Acropolis. We did the 5 drinks pairing and it was a bit much. We didn't finish all our alcohol and were pretty tipsy on the way out. The gourmet butters that come with the bread are out of this world.

Great staff, good food but that should have been more explored.

Location is terrible to be honest, just above some sort-of highway with strip clubs all around.
Staff was great and very friendly, gave nice advices on wine along our meal. We ended up staying 4hr30 so we had a good time.

Regarding meals, everything was good but we felt like there was always something missing. Basically it was always a single product with sauce so there was always an association or side missing. The cod was amazing and the sauce very tasting though!

No complaints for 14 courses with this price range, however we were expecting the main courses are more impressive! Dessert were the best. Restaurant itself easy to book, romantic theme, too quick between dish to dish, wine pairings was just OK. They should let customers know in advance rooftop is not open in November. Was very excited to sit up there……

Everything we tried was delicious, especially the rib eye. I will definitely visit it again if I will be in Athens.

Restaurant: really nice atmosphere in the heart of Athens! The food is good in quality and quantity, but it certainly does not deserve a Michelin Guide distinction. The service was quite unresponsive and relatively slow.

Very nice ambient in the center of Athens with good service and friendly stuff (in our case) but it was quite expensive for such mediocre food quality. The boiled greens salad was a bit sour and our main courses ( mushroom risotto, sea food orzo and spaghetti with feta pesto) were very salty. The freshly baked bread with olive oil was very good and we enjoyed the wine and the coffee at the end.

Amazing fusion cuisine with a japanese flavour. Small dishes for sharing as a concept. Whatever you order is simply amazing. Apart from the duck ( which was a bit bland )  every single dish is full of flavour and delicious combination of spices and tastes. Desserts are divine!!! Great and very efficient service as well.

Was here in July 2022 and food was extraordinary.
Was lucky to had found a reservation before leaving Athens.

This restaurant is a must visit if you like taking care of your tatsebuds. The food exceeded my expectations on every level. My eyes rolled back on the first bite of every course. Couldn't fault a single thing served up in our five dishes - even the wine was on point. In terms of service, the staff were delightful and knowledgeable. A foodies delight.

This was one of the best choices I've made. The atmosphere and the place in general were wonderful and the service was excellent!
Now, regarding the food, I'm speechless! Great portions, great quality in great prices!

Went here twice in a week! Staying in Greece for a month with a chunk of time near Athens and this is the perfect restaurant for casual but professional service in a beautiful courtyard. It’s a short walk up the hill near the Archaeological museum in Athens! Food is amazing! Some dishes definitely stand out more than others but overall amazing meal both time I went! We got multiple dishes each time and ordered completely different things the second time to try out more of their menu. Love this place. The only thing is that on some days and nights on weekend they seem to be busy so if it’s a holiday or weekend peak summer, definitely think about making a reservation instead of risking it and walking in.

!!! Everything were extremelly tasty !!! We enjoyed every bite along with the light tsipouro.
The service was really quick and all peronnel were trully polite.
They were even wearing face masks, even though the restaurant is in an outdoor courtyard of an old school. (They checked our vaccination certificates.)
We found easily a parking space outside the restaurant, even though it was Saturday.
At the en they offered us complimentary mastiha liquer.

We tasted pizzas and pastries in Athens and this is undoubtedly the best pizzeria we've been to. Pizzas from the taboon are not too thin and not too thick, perfectly crispy and perfect pizza sauce. I would add a little more cheese, but in any case very tasty. Completely reasonable pricing and an additional and not obvious extra in Athens - excellent, courteous and excellent service. May they succeed!

I had the soutzouki peynirli spicy (also available in non-spicy) and it was delicious. If you love pizza and spicy food, order this.

My wife had the Avocado peynirli and she loved it.

The order was prompt and we will definitely return next time we are Athens!

Great experience! I couldn’t choose a better restaurant to celebrate my birthday! The bread was delicious and the fish too. A little expensive compared to other restaurants in Atene but it is correct.

I was limited to 5 stars, but would have liked to give it a higher rating if google would have allowed. This has been my favourite restaurant in athens. If you go be sure to get the 6 course meal.   The hostess, owner and staff were very helpful and friendly.   If i were to only get a single dish i recommend the beef cheeks. Very tender.

The setting is peaceful and tranquil. I had the pork fillet encrust with truffle which was amazing. Tender with a sweet after taste. My wife had the beef cheeks also very tender lots of flavor. Finished off the the lemon sobert which was very 👍👍👍.

I'm finishing my dessert and seriously can't wait to give the restaurant 5 stars. The food is superb, I don't eat seafood but enjoyed the octopus tremendously, servings are elegant and/or interesting, the service is excellent. We're having the best time!!

Well known place and highly recommended! Maybe we expected too much. Very good ambiance and service. The food, although well prepared, offered no taste or memorable reference although we tried many different dishes. Disappointing!

This is a "fancy" place. Open kitchen, low lighting and serious waiters. We had dinner and we really enjoyed the food. Everything was prepared carefully, the dishes were relatively simple, yet taste was complex and layered. Portions were adequately sized (which means small compared to the Greek standards) and this allowed is to enjoy everything without feeling stuffed. The ekmek was simply amazing and it would easily fed 4 people 😂

We were in Athens for 7 days and went back twice. What can I say? Really delicious treats, nice and friendly staff with hearty portions so you could easily share a box with someone! Definitely worth of stars.

It’s good and you will definitely love it if you are into sweets. These are like fried donut balls and coated with syrup and with a scoop of ice cream on the side. In the Netherlands you can compare it with tiny “oliebollen”. I only tried the most normal thing on the menu with only syrup and it was nice, but not really special. However, it is a must try when in Athens!

We stayed in Athens two nights and went here at least three times! These things are addicting! My favorite was the original honey and cinnamon. They have tons of flavors and ice cream to go with them so you won’t be disappointed. But you have to at least try to original once and I am sure you will go back for more! These are a great price and they give you a good amount. I ordered these on some of the islands and they were more expensive.

For non Greeks: Lukumades are like donut holes, but crispy on the outside and so moist on the inside. They are deep fried pieces of heaven that don’t even taste greasy!Lukumades is one of my favors Greek snacks /desserts!

We enjoy very much at this Taberna. It was tasty, local food. We just took vegetarian dishes.
The live Greek music added to the good atmosphere.
The price was ok.
It was a cold night, but with the heaters next to us it was warm enough to enjoy the dinner.
I recommend this Taberna.

I would say this was the highlight of the trip , walking through alleys of old Plaka I found this amazing spot , band plying nice traditional Greek music, tables are aligned the platforms of the stairs , very difficult to find a table as the place is quiet busy , but if you wait a bit you can be lucky and get a table , food was good and service was ok too , ambiance is just amazing more than food or anything else.

Discovered this restaurant on Wolt during lockdown. Feel in love with their vegan mocha cake and I ordered frequently trying almost everything on their menu! When they reopened I visited it too! A popular place as it bustling with the crowd!! Great taste in food and drinks! I have not been disappointed at any time!

I ordered a salmon bowl but at the first the bowl came without salmons….after some communication, they added there for me. A bit interesting experience tho. The price is a bit on the high end compared to other Greek brunch cafe.

Good selection of food, coffees and drinks. The actual cafe seating that is situated outside is in the shade, which is really good for when you are in Athens in the summer. The food was average (I ordered the gluten free protein pancakes) however I would most definitely go back to give it another try, as they had quite a wide variety of dishes.

Guess i found one of my “muss visit” place in Athens.
At first, I’ve decided to seat on the terrace but order a dinner there. I don’t eat carbs and for me they prepared a great meat with asparagus, tartare and as a complement delicious cocktail.

The view from my corner was fabulous, however it might be a charming weather.

Despite on masks and gloves in the other hotels in Athens, here they did not bother me with it.
The atmosphere here was relaxed and friendly, but I don’t know why but expected more seafood in the menu.

Fantastic view of the Acropolis. Quality, tasty food. All around a great dinner. It’s pricey, but worth it. The bar on the first floor and dining area is also very nice. The waitress was sweet and attentive as needed. At least visit the hotel. It’s the best one in Athens I believe.

We had a magnificent experience at this rooftop restaurant. The food, the view, the ambience and the service were all top-notch.
My highlight was the excquisite Paris-Brest we had as a dessert at the end. Prepare to spend around 50-60€ per person (or more if you get wine bottles) but trust me it's totally worth every penny. Highly recommended when in Athens!

One of the best meat restaurants in Athens; low key, and calm area! You can find around you older locals or young hipsters! Every plate is thought of; sauces, slow cooking.. you have it all. Salads are also very tasty!

Mavro Provato is a small restaurant in Pagrati with a very ambient atmosphere and fast service. Sat there for lunch and the food came fast and was delicious. Would prefer the μπουγιουρντι to be a bit more spicier as well as the mussels, as it felt like there was something missing and left to be desired. All in all the wine was very good and really enjoyed our time here.

This is one of those places you’re grateful to discover when you’re hungry and you want something simple and delicious to eat with good service and selection. Bookmark this place. Not far from the Hilton Athens and museum.
