Not pretty in a classical sense, but distinct and lively centre of Berlin. Tons of history, interesting architecture and lots of life around. Also, Walkative free walking tours tours start from the adjacent Red Town Hall, great to understand the city.

It is the center of Berlin. When we were there l, they had a lovely Christmas market.
The plaster is easily accessible by train through Alexander Platz station. There’s plenty of shop for all your need and a lot of attractions nearby

A very lively place to spend time. Being a first time visiter, The vibe in this centre was pretty  intense. The place have all connection possible public city transport (S, U, Tram and Bus). Being a Tourist like me you can start your trip from here and a walk will take you to most of the important places.The Alexa mall is also very close and you is also a good stop for the shoppers. There are plenty of eatries here for a quick bite.

Nice place with a good atmosphere and nice people working. Went on a Thursday evening and it wasn't too busy. Wine prices were very reasonable! Had a couple different wines by the glass and the traditional Flammkuchen, which was good. There is a fairly large closed in outdoor seating area as well. Would be a good place for a date on a not crowded night.  Overall enjoyed it!

My boyfriend and I were extremely satisfied with our experience in Barrel Weinbar. The place was quiet, far from the city chaos; the lights were soft, the atmosphere was really enjoyable.
We ordered a platter of charcuterie and cheese to share wich was amazing: top quality products and matches well studied. We drank to glasses of red wine, one Italian and the other one French; they have plenty of interesting options.
After the platter, we actually felt like spending some more time there, so we ordered two more glasses and some paprika chips to share.
Overall, the service was super nice and kind, and the final bill was more than fair. It'll be a reference point for good wine in Berlin. Definitely recommended!

The food and the wine were delicious. The staff were all very kind and considerate. I will definitely be back.

There was a small mix up about one of my dishes and the staff handled it swiftly and accommodated with a free glass of wine. This showed me that not only do they understand the importance of good food and wine (as you can see) but also of good service ( a rare occurrence in Berlin).

This will definitely be a regular stop for us. The food and the wine were amazing, staff was lovely (and spoke English and German) and the prices are very fair.

The Institution of palatina im Berlin.
Mostly classics of german soulfood cuisine but also a decent changing three or four courses Menu.

Brilliant place with traditional vibes, friendly staff and really nice wine pairing.

Jaja is always a good choice. The food is always incredible and the wine list is phenomenal. Their menu does always change however If it’s on the card the celeriac tortellini egg yolk sauce with black trumpet is a star dish. Limited number of tables so book in advance.

JaJa is by far the most well known place in Berlin amongst natural wines lovers. It was mentioned in wine books, wine magazines and numerous reviews all across the web.

Is it worth the hype? - Stong YES!!

What's so special about it? - It was opened in 2016 with outstanding selection of natural wines hand picked by the founders. Ownership changed hands in a few years, but the concept remains the same.

Most of the wines are French, but you will also find true gems from other wine regions. Don't expect flashing only famous labels, but rather be open to new discoveries. Trust the palate of the buying team and let your host guide you through.

There is no wine list existing as such. It's all about the journey hosts are taking you to. Engage in dialogue and let them know your preference, what are you up to tonight. Than relax and let the magic happen. Deep cellar of JaJa won't disappoint.

Hosts have their own charm, deep knowledge of the wines they sell and endless empathy.

Menu is simple in a family style. All dishes are meant to be shared. It's impossible to go wrong with any choice. Everything is soooo delicious!

We started with pork rilette, sourdough and onsen egg. Paired with fizzy pét-nat by glass with Chinon based blend.

We followed with bottle of great Chinon Blanc and paired with Smoked char, potato & habanero. It comes on a sourdough, warm boneless fish smoked seasoned with spicy oil and garnished with onions and coriander.

Beef cheeks put a wide smile on our faces. So tender!! Our wine choice was juicy Cabernet Franc with burst of bright fruits and peppery flavour.

The place has cozy atmosphere where guests together with hosts create this unique vibe!

Reservation is highly recommended.

Was so excited to come here, as it was so highly recommended by friends. The wine did live up to the hype, the food was good, but the service ruined the experience.

Our server was pretentious, rude, and pushy, from the moment we arrived. “Friendliness” seemed to be an entirely foreign concept to her. I have very very rarely experienced that type of bad attitude from someone at a restaurant. I would not return based off of her alone. Maybe if I could confirm she wasn’t working I would give it another chance, but not really keen to go back to a place that hires such employees.

What an amazing experience! The team around Chef Silvio Pfeufer and Matze Deutsch are talented, young and highly motivated people to say the least. The food is exciting, fun and most of all heavenly delicious! The service is very attentive, friendly and competent. And lets not forget the wonderful wine and non-alcoholic pairing that is in the hands of some charming ladies. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. We had a wonderful evening dining here and felt like we where in very good hands. Hope we can visit again soon !

My dinner here was definitely one of the high points of my weekend trip to Berlin, and I'm happy to have gone.

But, having been to many restaurants of its kind, I'd have to say that einsunternull represented itself well but didn't really stand out. The food is of course of great quality, but there wasn't anything I spent the night raving about. The service was excellent, but to be expected in a restaurant of this kind. Still, I'd recommend it based on the lovely atmosphere, interesting dishes, and the value of the experience as a whole.

Overall, I was pleased, but not impressed.

Go and find out by yourself why the restaurant's name is "one below zero", you will not be disappointed by the food and the venue. The service was attentionate although sometimes dragging along between some courses. Wine pairing is nice but not cheap and for that price I would not expect that they  serve as little as they did. Inventive and innovative fresh kitchen by a young chef deserving its star - far above zero.

Highly recommended. This is an excellent dining experience. It is a set menu, all carefully prepared and presented with enthusiasm. The service was excellent. The menu offered is unusual and interesting with excellent vegetarian options. The complexity of the flavours justifies the price.

The place is nice. They have changing season menu vegan except the main dish which you can choose vegan or meaty. The dessert is not included in the menu. The quality of the food is really good but small portions. The staff was friendly although not super fast. Not five stars because of the price and because as it is closed menu there is no possibility to change or remove aliments.

Tried the dinner set, it was way too overpriced for what it's worth. Not digging the cooking either, very bland for my taste. Staff was unfriendly and arrogant. Serving time was dreadfully long, we waited 20-25 mins to get our water and wine served, nearly an hour for the main course. Sorry but for the price we pay, we expected better.

A really great example of casual fine dining done right. It was very refreshing to enjoy the big city vibes through the minimalistic designed open restaurant whilst enjoying the exceptional food.

Speaking of food: I fairly enjoyed every dish! This is very much a cultural experience just as much as an artistic in regards of the dishes. Expect great quality ingredients, carefully plated and yet not overly complicated put together. My favorite was the eggplant. The sweet one.

Staff is friendly and does an excellent job presenting and leading through the evening. They take careful notice of your need and habits, like offering extra tastings or additional breaks.

I have nothing bad to say. My only surprise was the fact that they do not accept American Express cards- something i would consider almost mandatory for a Michelin restaurant. I have never encountered one that doesn’t.

Been a fan of Chef Moshe from his time at Glass. A few years of absence from Berlin and a visit to Prism has shown me the amount of maturity and growth in the artistry  of his cuisine. Sublime, impeccable food. The wine list can be improved. Well deserved star and highly recommended. Cannot wait to visit Berlin again to enjoy his new creations.

Prism is an Israel 🇮🇱 Michelin Star ⭐️ restaurant 🍽 in Berlin 🇩🇪🧸( Chef 👨‍🍳). I enjoyed every dish: it’s a cultural journey and artistic experience. Excellent quality of ingredients, top wine selection, interesting combinations with deep and surprising flavors mix: a roller coaster of creativity and aromas. So any time you are ever in Berlin, go eat at Prism; this little corner of the Middle East is an absolute jewel. Completely speechless. 👏🏻

By far the best vegetarian dinner I have ever had and up there with one of the best dinners overall. They truly take it to another level recreating the flavors of traditional Austrian dishes (usually involving pork or chicken) with vegetables and clever combinations of seeds, garnishes, sauces, broths, and more.

Amazing evening.
The food was allmost all vegetables, and the taste was so good.
The service personel was very good at english and really gentle.
The athmosfere and the interior os the resturant was very nice, low music, a big painting and a kitchen only seperatet by a big glass.
The wine was allso really good.
We had the 8 course menu, add on with the signeteur dish, so 9 in all total.
Plus snacks and bread.

You can be mistaken at first by the facade and interior, but Horvath keeps on surprising throughout your food journey.
Old meets new in the interior design and it’s all in the details.
The kitchen is very creative and innovative in the usage of their seasoned and Local products. Your tastebuds really get spoiled with every course.
The wine menu is pleasantly remarkable in the offer and the countries represented.
We did not take the wine menu, but happily trusted the sommelier’s suggestion.
The staff is attentive and have the uncanny sense of who their customers are.
Overall, was it a great experience and hopefully there will be a chance in the future to re-live this.

Such a feel good place, all thanks to the owners who genuinely love what they do. They have a solid selection of wines that rotate on a daily basis. Some great natural ones too. Also, the snacks are incredible - I highly recommend the artichoke dip.

I attended a private event at Ottorink Weinbar in the summertime and it was a night that I will never forget! Delicious wine, friendly company, great music, and intimate ambiance. I would recommend Ottorink to any wine lover who is looking for a fun night out in Kreuzberg. Cheers!
