The chinese restaurant China-Restaurant Fuh Wah is a great place to get delicious food at a good price. The service is outstanding and the restaurant looks great. There are no complaints to be had here.

This restaurant is great, totally reccomend! The place is cozy, neat and nice decorated and clean. The food is delicious, fast and fair prices. The staff is calm, polite and kind. I even saw once the waitress helping an elder guest remove his jacket.
Once came in before their official opening time and they still gladly took me, I don't know of many restaurants that would do that, so nothing but praise. Delicious food at a good price, the service is outstanding and the restaurant looks great. I have 0 complaints. Would recommend to anyone.
For vegetarians the food tastes very lame. All the food is labelled flavour enhanced. Was good to get a full belly but tase wise not. I give two points for swift service

The orient shop is a big, clean, and spacious asian grocery store with a wide selection of groceries and spices. They also have a freezer full of frozen dim sum and dumplings, along with fresh produce. This store is great for all your asian food needs.

This is one of the best Asian grocery stores in Munich. A large and diverse selection covering heavily Chinese offerings, with very solid Thai and Vietnamese selections, and a decent range of Indian spices, curry bases, and vegetables. They offer big tubs of fresh made tofu in the walk-in freezer, as well as fresh and hard to find vegetables. The prices are also very good - easily as cheap or cheaper than anywhere else in the city. The visibility and cleanliness is also better than most Asian markets in the city - clearly stocked and regularly organized shelves, and wide, clean aisles make this an easy market to navigate, even when busy.
Very good selection... 5 stars if they would take regular card instead of stupid ec card
It has everything you need and more. An astonishing selection of spices, frozen goods, teas, noodles, and they even have fresh produce! So happy to have found some enoki mushrooms in Munich!

The Chinese restaurant Man Fat in Munich is a great place to while away an evening with delicious food and friendly service. The menu features classic meat, fish and vegetable dishes, all of which are favourites with locals and tourists alike. Whether you're looking for a quick bite or something more substantial, this restaurant has something for everyone.

The food is very good! Everything we ate was delicious The service was excellent They speak English and very friendly I recommend
Loved the Frühlingsrollen so so so much, must try snack. Other food were tasty as well.
(08/10/2018) - We had a lovely dinner at this Chinese Restaurant in Munich. Although we were typical Brits and ordered a lot of food. However we didn’t quite realise how big the portion sizes would be so we had way too much food for the two of us and we were defeated for once. The food was lovely and the staff were friendly. Nice little restaurant.

Chiang Shing is a great asian restaurant that serves up authentic Chinese cuisine. The restaurant is orderly and clean, with food that is both delicious and reasonably priced. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a good bite to eat.

Good food and excellent service. We ordered a fish hot pot, fried pock with vegetables. The restaurant is organized and clean. Food are good and authentic. Recommend for family or friends come and enjoy.
I had lunch at this place. This was the worst Bun Bo with beef I’ve ever had, mostly because of the meat. Its texture was fatty/jelly like. Not sure, if there are better dishes in the evening, but lunch option was bad. Big dumplings and mango salad with duck were ok though. And the service was good.
Really authentic Chinese foods, everything is clean and nice

LeDu is a delicious Chinese restaurant that specializes in dumplings. There are many variations of the northern Chinese staple on their menu, both steamed and fried. All dumpling dishes (with 10 dumplings) cost under €8, making LeDu a great value option.

Best Sichuan noodle you can expect in town. Well made and so authentic! Have to go every week for the Sichuan spicy noodle soup! The restaurant is ran by lovely people that makes you not just satisfied with your stomach but more of having a wonderful mood!
I am really excited about the food. While other restaurants of the chain in Munich are really more like restaurants, this one creates an atmosphere like street food somewhere in Asia. Rather tiny, crowded and with a lot of people super excited about dumplings and spicy food. Rather a quick stop though. Not a good place to spend a longer dinner or evening.
It's a small and cute place to grab something to eat if in hurry. The service is fast. The vegetarians options are good but taste wise they are ok not that great. I was suggested to eat dumplings so didn't gave a try to noodles.. which I guess are better in taste.

Dumplings are a popular choice in China and this chinese restaurant serves up some delicious dumplings. The small cozy setting is interesting, and the menu includes a variety of different dumplings to try. The taste was great, but it's not the best Chinese food around.

It’s a nice small cozy place. We sat outdoor. The price for 10 dumplings was 10.90€. The dumplings were delicious. Over all good experience.
Small cozy setting with an interesting dumpling menu. I would say that the 10 different dumplings for 8,90 were a great bargain and it allows you to try all the combinations on the menu. Taste wise it was great, but i not blown away :) i would advise people to visit and try as some combinations were really tasty, but some mediocre :)
The dumplings are great, the choices are good and quite delicious. However their focus is the colorful dumplings and I'm sure they arent the best dumplings out there, but they are definitely delicious. Plus that Peanut sauce is just delicious.

Yan You - Chinese Restaurant offers a wide range of traditional Chinese dishes, with a focus on fresh and AUTHENTIC cuisine. It has an atmospheric diner-like setting that is perfect for quick bites or take away food. While it may not be the most cosy place in town, the food is worth checking out!

Authentic and flavorful Chinese cooking, Yan You has a great selection of traditional Chinese dishes. The fragrant eggplant was especially delicious. Further, the service is very friendly and the price-quality ratio is good. Definitely recommend coming here!
Great food! Finally I found a authentic Chinese restaurant in Munich! Well, I’ve never been in China but at least on the menu, there are many foods I’ve never seen before in the other Chinese restaurant and the menu is not the kind of „pork sweet and sauer“, pork red curry, chicken sweet and sauer, chicken red curry etc. 😉 As we were there, 70% of the guests are Chinese/Asian . The small negative point is that it has an atmosphere like an „Imbiss „. The food are served real quick, included the complimentary sweet and fruits. So it’s a place, you will get a good food but not a kind of restaurant that is cozy. It’s a kind of eat and go. If this is not a problem for you, the restaurant is highly recommendable! 😄
Price is a little bit higher than I expected (maybe I do not know average price here because I am not from Munich) but it pays off. Flavors are really authentic and tastes are good enough. I highly recommend what I ate. Please refer to the pictures below. The reason why they win 5 stars is that one wateriest served a dish with fruits for free with stunning smile. I were deeply touched her kind offer. Please, give it a try without hesitation if you wanna enjoy authentic Chinese foods.

The restaurant China Restaurant Goldene Lilie serves delicious Cantonese-style food at a reasonable price. The quality of the food is high, and it is fresh and prepared in a traditional way. Although the prices are a bit higher than average, it is definitely worth trying out this restaurant if you're looking for some great Chinese food.

I am a frequent visitor here since I live nearby and I can say that if you want to take a bite at a really good quality chineese food, this is a good place. Just try to avoid the time where nearby hotels unload the whole bus of customers here :)
I ordered a dish of tomato stir fry egg (Euro 16), Chinese tea (Euro 3.5) and a bowl of rice (Euro 2). As a native Chinese Hongkonger, l rate the food of high quality and freshly prepared in Cantonese style. It is a bit too pricey. They don't accept credit card, prepare for paying cash.
I think this place is for foreigner most, for Chinese people they have a Chinese menu with higher prices. Around €22 for the main dish, which is much higher than well know expensive city San Francisco. Food is average, chicken soup without chicken, sever is slow and unfriendly. We order soup but did not give as the spoon, 3 dishes of food take over an hour, the third one comes out 20min after we finished the first and the second dish. Not recommended for this place

Too crouded, really long waiting time (more than 1 hour), broken plates and cooled food.

The restaurant has gained a following among local residents for its wide selection of food and drink, while also receiving praise from some reviewers for its excellent location and quality of service.

I eat at MANY Vietnamese restaurants and id never heard of "Bubble tea" But this place has people lining up and down the street to get a cup. It's delicious by the way 😄 And the menu is the widest of any Vietnamese- nein, any Asian restaurant I have ever eaten at! Try the Bun Po You're welcome
Duck was ok, quantity was not enough. I didn’t like that they put food on the tray which is not cleaned

The chinese restaurant LeDu Dim Sum & Bar is a trendy and lovely place that serves delicious salads, soups, dumplings, dim sums and desserts. Their menus have a variety of vegetarian and vegan options as well. Every dish was really tasty and we would definitely go back.

Lovely and trendy restaurant that serves delicious salads, soups, dumplings 🥟, dim sums and desserts. They have some really good tea ☕️ s as well. We can choose any 4 dishes in the menu for 24€ or even à la carte. They’ve some vegetarian and vegan options as well
If you are sceptic like me, you will be surprised. The dishes are really tasty! Basically for a fixed menu price, you can pick 4 dishes from the entire menu and each one of them was more interesting than the other. There are a kinds of salads, soups, dumplings and desserts. I really liked the vegetarian soup and the coconut balls desert. 😊
You will not be disappointed. Every thing was so tasty😋. I will definitely be going back again. I highly recommend you give this place a try

This Bavarian restaurant is well-known for its dumplings and jazz music. You can enjoy these specialties in a small beergarden or in the main room where celebrations are held. The food is composed of modern Bavarian cuisine that reinterprets traditional Bavarian dishes.

The location is great. Nice places to sit inside as well and outside. Great food and great service. Our waiter Benjamin was very friendly and helpful. 🍻 top restaurant!
This place is big and roomy, with dark wood paneling and Bavarian chintz decorating the walls. Voices will resonate and echo around this space, just like any other beerhall, so be prepared to shout to make yourself heard. Staff are friendly. There's fresh Paulaner beer on tap. The roast pork is divine. Good value, expertly made. Their take on the classical kaiserscharm I didn't like so much, it tasted a little bit stodgy.
Unique dishes with very different take on the traditional taste. Loved the dumplings and the shredded ox. Portion sizes are large and the staff is very helpful

Best hot pot in Munchen. Fast service using a special app, the dishes were delicious, the staff is speaking English and the atmosphere is delightful. Reservations are recommended especially during the weekend.
Perfect for a big group of people! We were 16 people and it was super easy to order everything on the app without having to shout or wait for a waitress to come to our tables. Time to time, the app didn't work properly, which was downside. Highly recommended to try out
I would say this restaurant is awesome for people who like hotpot. The food is super good with variety of options, from spicy to usual. Staff is friendly and great even thought they just can speak limited english. The tip for foreigner first time come here is that there is a QR code on every table, you scan it and order follow the instruction of the app.

The chinese restaurant Le Voyage 悠游之 is a great place to go for authentic Chinese food. The service is excellent and the decor is stylish, with a bit of a Traditional Chinese kick. The food was amazing - definitely worth trying all their dishes! It can be pricey for the dim sums, but overall it's worth it.

Amazing food! Don't let the name fool you, it is one of the most authentic Chinese food in Munich as a Chinese. The service is really good, ultra friendly waiter. The restaurant also accommodated and decorated the cake we brought for my birthday. Would highly recommend!
Very attentive service, beautiful modern decor with a bit Traditional Chinese kick. Food was phenomenal, definitely worth trying all their dishes! Maybe pricey for the dim sums.
Its a great place, good food. I would gove 5 to its dim sum plates, 4 to the duck but main dishes like the pork and crispy chicken miss the flavor. They need more than chili and garlic

Big portion of grilled lamb for very good price (12 Euro). Service is ok, as well as the interior. But it all is compensated by the food quality.

Awesome store for all your Indian grocery needs and most local fruits n veggies. It was really convenient as a tourist to get what’s needed to cook right away. Everything you need under one roof.
Good selection of authentic Indian ingredients and food such as pickles. The parathas are particularly good! You unpack them from the freezer, straight into a hot frying pan. (See photo)

TaiSan is a restaurant in Germany that serves Vietnamese food. It is very accommodating for gluten allergies, and the dishes are very fresh and flavourful. The duck curry is especially delicious.

Lily and Philip are the best. Been here many times when traveling for work in Germany. Dishes here are a little salty because it's adjusted to the German palette, but you can tell them to a adjust it to your liking. I highly recommend the duck curry because they prepare and cook their own duck compared to many other places. The salmon special is also very delicious if they have it in stock. Also ask them to surprise you with a dish that's not on the menu, Philip loves cooking different dishes than the standard ones on the menu.
This place has very special atmosphere - we always feel welcome. It's nice and cozy. Here you can find everything for small kids from a high chair to a changing table. Should I mention that food is delicious? If you're up to asian dishes simply come here. It doesn't matter for lunch or dinner, it'll be just as good as you can expect. There are a lot of places to park a car by the way.
Wonderful fresh food! Accommodating for gluten allergy.

AndeLong Asia Imbiss & Takeaway is a restaurant in Germany that serves authentic Chinese xiaolongbaos. The noodles are very good, and the baozi is also very tasty. The only downside is that there is no toilet available inside the restaurant.

The best Xiaolongbao in Germany, said by a Shanghaiese local. It is home taste for everyone who miss real Chinese Xiaolongbao. The wantan soup is very good as well. For two people we also had baozi, cucumber salad and pork belly. It is absolutely worth the price. In total it costs 30 euros and we had 5 dishes in total. One single tip, cash only and no toilet. Enjoy the meal!
Noodles very nice, xiao long bao skin is thin enough which is good!
One of the best xiaolongbaos I have ever eaten in my life. Even in Shanghai it would be hard to find better than these. Definitely recommend! The owner is also very friendly and the atmosphere is as authentic as it can be!

SUSHIYA sansaro is a sushi restaurant located in the heart of Schwabing, Munich. They use only high quality ingredients, whenever possible organic. Their aim is to uphold the reputation of the Japanese cuisine as one of the healthiest in the world. The restaurant is situated at three crossing points of Türkenstraße, Amalienstraße and Adalbertstraße.

Spent New Year’s Eve here and it was the best Japanese culinary experience we’ve had in 2021! quality of food was superb, amazing and knowledgeable staff, top off with a really friendly boss! The flavours were impeccable, seafood was fresh and wagyu beef was of top quality. Definitely a must try! 10/10 overall experience
The sushi is really delicious. This is probably the best shake nigiri I've ever had, but the waiting time was very long. We had to wait ~40 minutes to get our soup and 1 plate of starter, and once we finished that we again had to wait a long time for the sushi. The ice cream also took a while. The waiter was very nice and the food delicious though.
So Reservation was easy with OpenTable. We’ve been introduced to the menu very well. Waiter was very kind and double checked the order. Food was just amazing! Quality was absolutely great. Just the rice seems to be a little too dry. Toppings of Nigiris were perfect. Wasabi used was not the common spicy and overcovering stuff. Can recommend this place to all Sushi Lovers. Yuzu Sorbet was delicious for a perfect finish. Guys GO FOT IT!

I went to here with friends. I was so happy to have a great braised pig ear! There are also sizzling squid. I feel that I haven't eaten squid for half a year. We also ate Japanese tofu, which I haven't eaten since returning to Germany. Very recommended! By the way, you must not miss the Guobaorou(pot of pork). The glutinous rice wrapped around is very delicious! Besides indoors and outdoors, man can eat out when the weather is nice. It's great! Anyway, recommend it!

The chinese restaurant Song's Kitchen is a great place to go for authentic Chinese food. The steamed dumplings are amazing and the stir fried noodles with chicken and vegetables are also very good. The only downside is that they have limited seating so you may need to wait awhile for a table. The service here is very good, almost as Asian-standard service as you would find in China itself.

The restaurant is very small with just a few table indoor and outdoor. I really like the Taiwanese beef noodle here, the broth just blow in your mouth. The service is very good, the real Asian-standard service. They were very flexible when my friend asked them to replace beef with pork in the Taiwanese dried beef noodle.
Highly recommend for who love Asian/ Chinese cuisine, small restaurant but produce superb tasty Taiwanese/ asian food. I had their Beef Noodle curry, noodle is home made I think and its really taste amazing with the curry soup. Next time will definately try their Fried Chicken.
Really authentic Chinese food! We ordered two types of steamed dumplings (pork and San Xian) and stir fried noodles with chicken and vegetables to share. The dumplings here are amazing, I can’t recommend them enough! The only drawback is that they have very limited seating so if you want to eat in you may need to wait awhile for a table.

Matsuhisa Munich is an upscale Japanese restaurant that serves some of the most famous and beloved sushi in the world. The menu features a variety of seafood dishes, all inspired by Peruvian cuisine. Though it's located in the heart of Munich, Matsuhisa Munich can still offer guests a modicum of luxury while they dine.

Beautiful location and very private atmosphere. The food is very good and the staff was overly friendly. Definetly recommended to try out all the dishes to share.
The price vs quality ratio we’ve found was very poor. We had dinner at this place and ordered scallops which smelled bad so we needed to return them. Naturally we were told the dish will be excluded from the bill but it was not so we needed to tell the staff to exclude it. The food which we ordered afterwards was well made. The menu (which needs to be read online) is quite comprehensive so it was hard to chose and there is no option to order menu/ set (as many high end restaurants offer.). The staff was not very knowledgeable when presenting the dishes and helping with selection of drinks. Overall we had very high expectations for the place which were not met. We had 250€ dinner for two and walked away not very satisfied as the food we consumed for this amount was not much and very overpriced.
Been here on a Thursday night and we were welcomed warmly with some „shout“ all through the restaurant. Although not on the menu (anymore), they offered us a five course menu - great choice as the menu is quite long. The food was delicious - the photos speak for themselves. So we had a great evening in a comfy atmosphere. Thanks !

The service is excellent, and the food delicious - especially the noodles, which are handmade and fresh. There is no tipping policy, so feel free to leave a glowing review!

Super authentic and local vibe. Small tables, many people, fast service and of course wonderful noodles and broth. It felt like I was back in a food court and China. secret tip: if you ask nicely - you might get seconds 😉
On top of having absolutely delicious food, the service is outstanding! I was wearing a new white top (not ideal for slurping lol) and the server offered me his apron to protect my clothes 🥺 A++ Since there is a no tipping policy, the least I can do is leave a raving review. Vielen dank!
Was super happy to find this noodle place! The noodles are handmade and freshly made, and you get free tea! The gyoza is also very delicious 🤤 Have been there twice, and both soup and fried noodles are tasty (though I prefer the soupy ones). Will definitely be a regular here

Quite a lovely place to go to and the location could be better. As others have written the staff is extremely friendly and take care to treat the customers with respect. We had several people check in on us while we ate and at the end. The food was quite good. We ordered a Navratan Korma and a Vegetable Jai-Keema. Both quite tasty especially the Navratan, with a unique Almond cream. The food was tasty but it seemed like they tailored my dish to more European style. I wish they would unapologetically serve me traditional spiced dishes. Overall though, I liked the food and the service. I will have to go back one more time and ask for them to make the dish more spicy and traditional.
Caveat: My wife is Indian and I am British. Indian Mango is by far the best and most authentic Indian restaurant we have visited in Munich. The waiting staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, a real pleasure to talk to. I would encourage you to select dishes from the "chef recommendations" sections of the menu. The "home made" mutton and fish dishes were very tasty, and similar to what you would find in India. Also, the butter naan's were outstanding. Finally, one last comment on the owner, he came out of the kitchen to introduce himself to make sure we were satisfied with the food and hospitality. A very nice man. We will most certainly be visiting again.

This Chinese takeaway offers great food at a reasonable price, with soups and main dishes available for around five euros. The atmosphere is calm and the staff are friendly.

Great food! We got the fried noodles and chicken for €7.50 and he said we could do fried noodles and pork for €8.50 even though it wasn't on the menu. Cooked fresh right after we ordered it. Stayed warm until we could get home. Delicious food and good portion sizes at a great price. And there was bacon on it 🥓 Definitely would recommend.
This is a great place for some quick and good tasting Chinese food. Soup 2€ and main dish from 5€. And they have big plates, so all worth it and close to the Isar where you can relax and enjoy a beer next to the water
Absolutely mind blown. The curry sauce was incredibly aesthetic. Very quiet place. Very kind staff.

Authentic Indian cuisine is served at Keine, where the spices used in cooking are brought regularly from India. The restaurant has lovely traditional decorations and an atmosphere that is perfect for romantic dinners. The food is worth the price and good.

I found the food amazing, I wish I had asked for more spice though, because it was pretty mild so don’t be scared of the spice level. The server was nice and he was attentive. The place was a bit empty but I guess in a pandemic that’s a good sign! Good job guys and thank you!
Been here just once, because of the great ratings I saw on Google (mostly by other Indians). And I can say that the great ratings were well deserved. The food tasted really good, authentic for the most part. Had to request extra spicy as it was just not spicy enough but other than that no complaints. Would recommend.
Ambience is lovely with traditional decorations like paintings and showpieces. Lights are a bit dim so good for romantic dinner. Food is worth the price and good. Staffs are friendly and welcoming:)

The Thai China restaurant in Toronto is a great place to get Thai food. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. They have a wide selection of dishes, and the prices are reasonable.

I was first curious about the decor being desi but the name suggesting it’s mostly Thai. Believe me, you should get the Indian food 🤤 I loved the samosas and the chicken tikka masala smells and tastes divine! Very good price for what you get, especially with the Indian food!
Great food and very kind people!! They take credit cards (no minimum), great takeaway packaging, and speak English
A small restaurant cum imbiss in business locality makes easier for many working people to enjoy food. I didnt understand concept of this restaurant as it serves Thai, chinese and Indian food dishes. I tasted butter chicken masala one day where chicken was fried like chinese dish and added to masala. Masala gravy was ok. Another day I tasted aloo gobi paratha which was really awesome. Place has very limited seating. Appx 10-12 high chairs. In summer, you can sit outside. I am really worridd about food preparation quality. As there are 3-4 cook always in 2×5 m kitchen. Everything was messy and dirty and moat important NO Hygiene at all. No cordination between cooks makes dish preparation chaotic. Place definitely recommended to visit however, not for daily food.

The Gyoza Bar is a small, but cozy and contemporary asian restaurant that specializes in Japanese dumplings. The simple menu offers gyoza with different fillings or wantan in soup, and the friendly service makes it a great choice for a quick bite before your evening continues elsewhere.

Delicious food and nice staff. I loved wonton soup! Such a great dish for a cold Sunday afternoon :)
Great place for a snack or light meal. Really yummy gyozas and good selection of beers. The only thing I didn't like too much (personal taste) was the Chinese Coleslaw. Friendly service & reasonably priced!
I had 8 vegetarian Gyozas and it was the perfect quantity and really good, for something like 7 or 8€. At the end a mango pudding is served. There is a selection of beers from Japan or China besides German ones (from what I could tell). The place is small, with a classical music background. The service was nice.

The J-Bar is a Japanese restaurant with an izakaya-style atmosphere. It serves traditional specialities such as Kirin beer with iced foam, and is popular with both Japanese nationals and locals. The food is fresh and tasty, and the staff are all highly experienced and friendly. We had Takoyaki and Yabitori starters, mixed Sashimi plate and Unadon. were extremely full but happy in the end. Mochi made by themselves was perfect!

Highly recommend! The food is really fresh and tasty. The staffs are all Japanese and very experience as well as super friendly. For 2 people we had Takoyaki and Yabitori as starters, mixed Sashimi plate and Unadon. We were extreme full and happy in the end. Their Mochi is self made so you should have a try as well ;) I will definitely come back soon. Thank you again for the nice evening!
Trendy and very authentic Japanese food. Maybe it's just my huge stomach, but I would go here to eat as a snack or appetizer before going somewhere for the main course. The food was delicious but not enough to fill me or be honest so I was still hungry afterwards! I ordered the Takoyaki which came in with 4 balls but other restaurants usually would provide 6 balls. The Japanese fried chicken (Karaage) was also tasty but very different from the other Japanese restaurants because it was more chewy and moist compared to the more crispy and harder outer fried batter. The service was very good. Everyone was nice and polite!
Authentic small Japanese restaurant. We enjoyed the atmosphere. Food: brilliant, good quality food, portion a bit small but totally worth it, quality is excellent. Service: a bit slow, but very friendly Price: fair for the quality of food.

Hong Kong Market is a reliable and comprehensive Chinese grocery store with a wide selection of fresh vegetables, spices, sauces and more. It's open until 8pm every day except Sundays, making it convenient for those looking for late-night shopping options. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to stock up on Asian ingredients in Munich.

Very friendly employees and great choices for reasonable prices. Very easy to reach also with public transport. Our choice from now on
Its a nice place if you are looking to do some recipes from the far East Asia region. Even though I go there often, I still find it on the expensive side. Other than that the staff are friendly and you will find some gems in there that you can use to add good flavour to good. Also they store marmite and PG tips tea so that is always a plus.
Reasonable price. Quite good fried noodle.

This Vietnamese restaurant serves some of the best Asian specialties in Munich. The food is mouth-watering and the service is excellent. It's a bit out of the way, but that's part of its charm. You won't be disappointed if you visit Binh Minh Restaurant.

Authentic Vietnamese and other Asian cuisine, good prices, well worth the extra walk from the city center. But beware, you can only pay with cash, but luckily there is an ATM a couple doors away.
Thai-Vietnamisse restaurant 9mins away from the hauptbanhof. I personally did not enjoy much the food,it was quite simple taste for such a dish and dry. Price is okeish. The woman responsible for the place was friendly, the food came quite fast and the place was empty, which make the stay good for us! Please, make sure you bring cash with you as they do not accept card!
Very good service and excellent food. The restaurant is very neat and clean. They don't accept cards so it is better to carry cash. But there's also an ATM very close by so that's not a problem at all.

The chinese restaurant China Restaurant Global Wok is a great place to go forauthentic Chinese food at a fraction of the cost of other restaurants in the area. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to help you with whatever you need, from taking pictures for you to clicking them for you. There is ample free parking onsite, and the buffet is huge and delicious.

Too many varieties of delicious food for ~25Euros per person which includes drinks (Beer extra, 1€ per bottle). Friendly staff who go out of their way to support your requests, for example when we asked to click a pic, staff came out in the cold and she clicked many pictures! Sufficient parking in front of restaurant.
Low quality food. Too much salt in many dishes. Sushi with too much rice. The Chinese owners would never feed this to other Chinese people. Real Chinese people would never eat here either. But I guess they think German people won't mind the low quality they serve. The hired staff somehow don't really seem to be happy with their work. We visited with 5 people at 26 euro p.p. and after this experience won't visit this place anymore.
They have the largest open buffet I've seen, all within a small budget ( if im not wrong a fee of 7.5€ per person for a red meat menu and 15€ for sea food selection). Everything really delicious, fresh and perfectly displayed. The staff was very communicative and polite. İ would definitely go again 👍

Ganga restaurant is a great option for vegetarians in Munich. The atmosphere is calm and quiet while the food is delicious. The menu here ranges from Asian to Indian, all dishes are just made to perfection. Additionally, the service was very fast.

Good Indian restaurant in the heart of Munich. The prices are average, and the service is quick and gentle. The staff speaks English, too. The food is well prepared, worth every cents.
I have tried thali both times I went here on a weekend without reservation. I was a single person and have experienced that in Munich looking for an ad-hoc one person table is 'hard'. The food itself was nice, I particularly liked the naan, it reminds me of the tandoori chapati we usually get in Vaishno bhojanalaya back home in India. Service was fast, serving staff attentive and the hospitality made dining here a pleasant experience. If I ever come to Munich, I would definitely try them out again. Only little gripe I had was the straw they gave with drinks, it's so thin for mango lassi that my mouth feels like I'm pulling water out of a well while sucking on it. 😃
Delicious Food and sufficient quantity for a person if you order thali. I also liked the fast service.

Garam Masala is an Indian restaurant located in Munich close to Marienplatz. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes suitable for vegetarians and non-vegetarians, with a focus on spices and authentic flavours. The place has been well-maintained and preserves its cooking style bringing authentic Indian taste to your table.

We had a particularly terrible experience with this restaurant. After we had been directed to the table and settled down, the staff informed us that we would be required to meet a minimum billing requirement of the management. This requirement is neither displayed outside of the restaurant nor mentioned on the website. So I assume, this was one way to make us voluntarily get up and leave the restaurant (which we gladly did!). I would say the restaurant is doing a fantastic job of losing its customers with rude service.
Being vegetarian we had limited options and being with another friend who had wanted particular dishes, we ended up heading here. While the ambience was nice like others in the neighborhood, the inside was quite warm as the time passed, though there were barely 5 guests in total in 2 tables at the time. The flavours were good, but the gobhi pakodas and aloo gobhi (cauliflower) dishes felt they were undercooked. This could have been better to improve the overall experience.
Taste is bad. After waiting 40 mins when we received our order the rotis were very cold and dry. When we ask the waiter he said 🙄 its a busy day. As if he is serving for free. And after we came home back they added extra dishes to our bill which was unacceptable 😑

China City haha but no chinese food..Hilarious!!, of course I did not order.. like Thailand, I have been several times in China. I spat out a couple of famous Chinese dishes but these guys didn’t even know about it..And obviously I was the crazy guy… Avoid if you’re interested in traditional Hong Kong level Chinese ..the waiter told me they only use one sauce for all! the dishes I asked “black bean sauce “the look he gave me was saying enough .

Great Chinese food. Especially aubergine meals are great.
Disappointed, pork belly was a little sweet and bun was too hard and couldn't eat. Eggplant was too sweet. These food are not for Chinese, maybe good for Germans!
Real authentic chinese food!! (also according to my chinese friend) It was very delicious! It was not too spicy and had a very nice aroma of sichuan pepper. It is only take away and you can‘t pay by card

Kirschblüte is a small, Vietnamese restaurant with special charm. They have two main dishes every day and usually have a vegetarian option available. Small Asian restaurant, that fits perfectly for launch. The menu changes every day and usually has option of 2 small dishes (soup or rolls for example) and 2 main dishes to choose from. They also have vegetarian option.Portins as for me quite big and food tastes fresh and good.Launch menu costs circa 10 Euro.
Super cute Asian cafe tucked in a Munich side street. Was a great place to get out of the cold and have some warm tea, soup, and noodles. Everything was nicely flavorful and interesting. Highly recommend getting the lunch menu
5 Stars Came for the food what was exceptional well and after that the coffee nobody could imagine confirmed our visit. Best coffee in an Asian restaurant so far. Soup / salad + Main dish + Coffee + = 10€

The Chinese restaurant China Restaurant Jackie Chan serves authentic Chinese cuisine but also offers western interpretations of the cuisine. The service can be hit-or-miss, but was warm and welcoming when visited.

I did a take away of noodles with vegetables from here and I just loved the taste of it. It was appropriately cooked with lots of vegetables in it. I asked them to make it spicy and guess what 1st time I really got what I expected🤩🤩. For an Indian taste it's a must try place as while relishing the Taste of the noodles I almost forgot that I am eating it outside India. Loved it.
so we ordered Shiomai.. all Fat!,,, that is not typical chinese shiomai,, sorry a disgrace for chinese cuisine eggrolls.. aire. and few cabbage or whatever carrots they find. i am chinese.. but i have eaten. way better chinese food .. never again. then hubby ordered soup... That was left over broth from ?... thought it looked great.. ambiance.👍 food scored a total failure.. sorry.. not a good reataurant.. just remember..if Chinese dont eat there.. its not authentic!!! we just happen to see it.. that evening... and we wanted to try .... But,, Burger King would have been better.!!!! lol
Great authentic Chinese food but also a part of the menu that caters to more classical western interpretations of Chinese cuisine. Can be quite crowded because the place is often frequented by Chinese tourists (a good sign imho). Service can be hit-or-miss but was very warm and welcoming when we visited.

The chinese restaurant China-Restaurant HU is great for people who love authentic Chinese cuisine. It's reasonably priced, and the food has a good, genuine Chinese flavor. The service is friendly and efficient, and the restaurant is spacious and well-located.

Extraordinary buffet: lots of options, great offer of meats, sea food, vegetables, sides, etc. The live cooking is fast and delicious. The desserts buffet is also very good with ice cream, chocolate fountains and fruits. I highly recommend.
Nice than I expect! Cheap and genuine Chinese flavor cuisine! Although it was a bit too oily for me.
Saturday lunch was very busy, and our drinks took quite a while to arrive. The staff couldn't quite keep up with refilling the dishes, so many containers were empty. However, there were still many yummy choices available.

The young cashier guy is very friendly. Good for grabbing your essentials, doesn't carry some stuff though (for example dried whole peppers) so you might wanna visit a bigger Asian grocery. Very good prices though and carries most of the stuff I need.
A bit expensive but has quite some stuff and is located in the middle of Münchner Freiheit

The food is delicious and prices are lower than average, making it a great option for budget-minded shoppers. Although the store has an unimpressive look, the friendly staff and great food make it worth checking out.

Pretty extensive collection, and has a unique warehouse feel to it. Interesting experience and friendly staff. Not sure if as cheap as Shanghai Markt but probably not a lot more expensive
Honestly a really nice selection. They have a small restaurant inside dedicated to cooking what they sell. Don't expect exception service, however there are really good prices for what they do offer. Good for a quick lunch, or to grab something hard to find on the go.
