My wife and I went to the High Kings concert here and were very surprised by the building itself. It was really cool to get to watch the High Kings in person. It’s a cool venue, very clean and spacious. Lots of musical history in that building and displayed all over in the artwork. It is a nice blend of modern and vintage. I’m looking forward to coming back again.

This is a great venue and we have gone here for years. There are great performers that come through every month and it never gets old. The venue is relatively small and intimate. I’ve sat al over the venue and there isn’t a bad seat in the place. People get there early to get up close but it’s not necessary. It’s structured where everyone can have a good view of the stage. The menu is smaller post Covid but it still has a few good selections. Stay away from the mozzarella sticks. The bread pudding is good though! They have a great root beer too.

I visited last Friday with my husband for a Judith Hill concert and we had a blast. It was my first time at this venue and I really liked the ambiance. We weren’t really spaced out much, but it was nice being in a communal setting again. The food wasn’t 5 star, but it was good for the moment. I’d definitely recommend eating before you go or just snacking on appetizers. Other than that, our waitress was very lively and friendly. All in all a good experience; I’d definitely go back for another show.

Another fun place and much less creepy than the catacombs, lol. There are two library complexes, and two sphinx like statues besides the pillar.

The have a nice cafeteria/cafe as well as two shops for souvenirs. Walking around the complex is fun and it's quiet - a treat if you're tired of all the cars.

My family visited this place with a tour guide. It is a nice place to visit while in Alexandria. Beautiful sceneries surrounded with many ancient remains.

Very beautiful historical site, it was once the great Serapeum of Alexandria with the famous Pompey’s Pillar, the site is Greco-Roman and full with history that shows us how great this site was in its golden times, there are also an underground remains of the small library of Alexandria(the smaller version of the famous great one), and also an underground sanctuary with a replica statue of Apis bull, overall it was a very nice attraction and worth checking out.

Small art gallery that also serves as venue for small scale weddings. Currently displaying Art Optimism: Focus on Climate Change and Sustainability. This historic building was opened in 1851 as the Bank of the Old Dominion. It is an example of Greek Revival architecture.

Really perfect. The art caught me off guard by its brutal display of modern culture. This current exhibit is worth whatever trip you have to make.

Very beautiful museum in a very good location that’s accessible easily, the building used to be an Italian palace as well as the former American consulate in Alexandria, the museum is consists of the ground floor which showcases the Greek and Roman history of the city, the upper floor showcases the Coptic, Muslim and Modern history of the city, and finally an underground floor showcases the Pharaonic history including ancient tomb section which even more underground, i’d say the museum is decent and very informative and educational, the fees are pretty cheap it’s only 20 Egyptian Pounds(about 1.3$ only) and if you’re a student in school or university you’ll only pay 5 pounds(0.3$ only).

Overall i enjoyed my time there and would recommend visiting it if you’re around in the city.

This museum is all about Alexandria and its history. Starting from Romans time to British rule till arabs. It has everything. It is not as magnanimous as NMEC or Bibliotheca Library, but is a good place to visit. They have different tickets for foreigners and locals. So knowing arabic will be handy. It is oldish building but is worth visiting.

This newly renovated museum is definitely a 10/10, each floor tells you the story of an Egyptian Era but with an Alexandrian perspective.

What surprised me the most was the pharaohic exhibition, who knew that Alexandria existed pre-Alexander himself! They also have an underground showroom that's a replica of every pharaonic burial site.

Getting to know how the Greeks influenced and were influenced by Egyptians was very enlightening,  so was seeing rare coptic artifacts.

The outdoor palace garden was filled with rare and exotic plants, and it was mentioned somewhere that three garden was some sort of holy temple at a point in time, I vaguely remember that part sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wonderful historic house tour, one of the very best that I have taken.  Much important historical activity had its beginning in the dining room of that house.  It is both well preserved and restored where needed with many original pieces.  Woodwork in perfect condition.   The house itself has.an unique history and I encourage you to explore it yourself.  Barbara made it informative and entertaining.
Parking is easy and you are in easy walking distance of the waterfront and old Town.  The cost is modest for such a great tour of a striking Georgian house.

Good, short activity if you are into historical tours. Not a very big space. But the staffs were friendly and the guided tour was good too. Had a good experience.

The walking tour takes about 40 min with a short movie explaining the history of Carlyle. The tour costs $5 per adult and it is at the top of the hour. It was interesting to hear and see some of that history. When we went the AC was not working so it was so hot inside!

The Gadsby’s Tavern Museum is a really cool museum that is steeped in history. Founding fathers slept, ate and celebrated many occasions here. High recommend for a intimate experience back into history.

$5 to tour hotel museum or $8 for guided tour. Great gift shop too! No restroom, but there is one in the basement in the historic tavern/restaurant next door. We had a good lunch there & loved the  warm apple cider. Reasonable prices. Lots of shops within a few blocks & Potomac marina within walking distance too.

After so many years, it still feels like a strong fortress. Beautifully constructed with breathtaking views of the sea and the city all around. While I walked through, I imagined what it must've been like for the soldiers living and training there.

Beautiful 15th century fort. A must see when in Alexandria. Amazing how well preserved it is, the only parts in ruin are the outer walls. The view from the fort is spectacular. Reading the stories about life at the fort really takes you on a journey of imagination.

It is ok the visit the citadel. Not to much fun but acceptable.
Ticket price is 30 EGP, inside you will enjoy lovely view of the sea. It is very nice place for taking good photo shots.

Great place to walk around with friends or if you are on a date. There is parking nearby so you do not have to park very far however if it is busy then parking could be an issue. The waterfront has a great view and overall is a good place to hangout as there are more than a few restaurants nearby. Saw many people walking their dogs here so if you need a place to walk your dog and are nearby this is definitely an option as there is open space.

Beautiful, clean, family friendly and, easy to walk along the waterfront. There are benches to sit and watch the birds, or people watch. The park on the day we walked had lots of families having picnics. However there was one homeless man with his tent, desk chair, lap top, and speakers set up! I wanted to take a photo, but didn't dare.

The Torpedo Factory is right at the waterfront! It's a former torpedo factory, now a building with art studios and galleries, free to the public! Go and see local art and meet some of the artists! Support local art!

The Waterfront here is truly relaxing. You can stop for a meal at one of the several restaurants here too.

The biggest and the largest library, as claimed, in the world. It literally lives up to this claim. A humongous library with millions and millions of books, e books, artifacts, history, pictures and what not. Their staff is amazing. It is a must visit place. Book a tour, and spend some time there. It is worth it no matter you are a library person or not.

Absolutely incredible place! I really envy the students who get to study here on daily basis. I wish I had something like this in my city in my childhood, I would have never left it!

A wonderful place, probably my favorite place in Alexandria and one of my favorites in Egypt, it’s truly spectacular and a treasury for so many books and artifacts, it has multiple museums, exhibitions and sections, it has a planetarium as well and multiple cafes, the Sadat museum and manuscripts museum were my favorites in the library, i highly recommend visiting it.
