Showed up later than we should have. They were closing soon but took us as we promised to be quick. Friendly staff, fast service, good prices and DELICIOUS food!! Giving 5 stars because they let us in so late and we were starving

Decent prices and good food.  Portion sizes are also generous.  Staff is helpful: seated a large group with little space, and even charged a party’s phone, but incredibly slow!  Rice shouldn’t take so long to come!  Interior is well decorated.

The service was good. We were seated quickly.
The food came pretty quick.
We liked the fish dish more. Although they charge you €3.50 for extra chili, which we found really pricey. And the don’t tell you, you just see it on the receipt.

Best part of this place is the cozy feeling that you get and you can basically sit and chill for hours! Beers are great, spring roll was ok and stuff is very friendly!

Nice food and very reasonable prices. As a suggestion you should turn the music down a little bit. The waiters will still have a good time and the customers will be able to talk without shouting.

PAD THAI? More like PAD LIE 😡

I was given a red, curry flavoured Pad Thai and when asking the staff that I was unhappy as it tasted nothing like a Pad Thai. I was just told ‘well it looks like a pad Thai’.

Clearly, the chef had accidentally ruined the pad Thai. Which coincidentally, caused the waitress to pad lie to my face and say, ‘oh it’s a recipe change!’.

After explaining that I’ve eaten there 3 times before and it never tasted like this, all I received was a ‘well there is nothing we can do’ look.

Rude staff, AWFUL food. I will never be back and would never recommended this restaurant ever again.

Go somewhere better. Save your disappointment.

As three guys we despise the house of pad lies.

We found this place by mistake when my planned gluten free find had closed! It was so great. In a fun downtown area with bars or walking for after. The Thai was amazing and authentic. Most of the menu can be gluten free. So great!!!

I went to this restaurant to celebrate my birthday with family. They arranged a large table for us. The food was very good, real authentic Thai flavor! If you like real Thai food I do recommend this restaurant. It’s quite a small restaurant

A great restaurant with tasy food and a super friendly staff. While I would have given it 5 stars, I honestly feel that they are lacking in terms of vegetables. For example, I ordered one of the duck dishes, and like all main dishes it is served with plain rice, but there are not vegetables. That is fine, I can just order a side dish to make up for it, right? Sure, but the selection is very limited unless you order a vegetable dish that includes rice or noodles, which is a bit much when rice already comes with the main dish.

Thai backpacker style bar. This place is fun, doesn't take anything too seriously and serves good curries and thai street food snacks. Nice deals on drinks including Chang beer.
The rice in the mango sticky rice needs some coconut milk to make it a bit sweeter.

Great ambiance and interior. Felt a bit like home. Food was okay though. Bites + soup tasted fine (But 5euro for one Sausage though?) Curry however... The pineapple in the red curry got me very puzzled. The pineapple overpowered the curry so much, it completely destroyed the dish. And the massaman had so much peanut that it got me wondering how their “Peanut curry” would taste like. But- their dessert was great - yet also, 5 euro for quite a small slice of cake? Not so keen on the price-quantity here.

Overall... It’s a great place if you want to hang out and get introduced to Thai food, just don’t expect a lot of the authentic flavors.

P.S. If you plan to order soup with curry, I’d recommend asking if those two courses can come at the same time. It’s really nice to eat the soup together with some rice.

This is one of my favorite restaurant in Amsterdam! Chill vibe and super friendly staff! I had an amazing time and felt very welcomed. Every dish was delicious, perfect with rice. If I could I would give it 6 stars. Will definitely come back for another meal. Highly recommended!

An unexpectedly excellent and authentic Thai restaurant. We stopped here for a quick bite on the way to the train station, as I’m sure many others have. My hopes weren’t high but I came away very impressed and with one caution: starters and papaya salad are extortionately overpriced - sick with the mains.

The roast duck dish was delicious and plentiful. Highly recommended and not much else to say there.

The Pad Thai was the best I have had in ages; it to one me back to Thailand.  I didn’t even get. A picture it went so fast, but I was tempted to order a second. At 18 euros though I didn’t. It has the perfectly soft and stretchy noodles I love, and a good mix of spicy and savory. If they added small sides of sugar, spice, and peanuts to sprinkle on then it would be 6 stars!  Just amazingly accurate to what I remember.

Big sizes and delicious fried rice dishes. The soup with prawns and coconut milk is one of the best soups I've tasted. Definitely a 5/5 and for sure I'll visit again. Very polite and friendly staff.

I asked the waiter if they had WiFi, he told me no. Then I searched and found the Thaicoon WiFi. I asked why he said they didn't have, he said it was because it doesn't work, but I logged on anyway and it worked. The food was average with some of the veg not fresh at all with rotten parts. Loads of oil instead of sauce. The 3 chillies spice level was very mild for Thai food. The starter soup was not pipping hot 🔥. They sell a small glass of water for €2.75 without showing/bringing the water bottle, you don't know if you're being served tap water. Customer service was poor, have to ask things twice or more. Paid by cash and the waiter did not return with my change (though very small) for over 7min. When I went inside to use the toilet, he was carrying on with other tasks, he saw me and still did not offer my change. He has basically decided to tip himself or keep my change, presumptuously. More room for improvement.

So glad I went again ,only come twice a
year to Amsterdam but always have a meal here.Lovely curry,great vegetarian dishes, nice staff,just a great evening out! And they don't tell you that you have to leave after 2 hours,which seems to be almost normal now in restaurants in Amsterdam.Corona is over !!!!!

Great authentic Thai restaurant in the heart of Amsterdam. Excellent food, and great service. The menu offers mildly spicy to classic spicy levels as custom in Thailand cuisine. Indoor and outdoor sitting possible, and decorated like an authentic Thai food restaurant

The food was really nice, good balanced taste. The overall vibe is cozy. The server is a very nice and polite old man.
Some of the food portions are very small, for example their signature Massaman Neua. It's in a small clay pot with a hefty price.
Some of their dishes do come with relative more in quantity in relation to their price.
The Phad Thai and the fried rice for example.

Always wanted to try this restaurant, because of its location and the interior decoration is very beautiful and full of Thai characters too. So tried the takeaway today, its Tom Kha Koeng just tasted salty and not very Thai favourable, could not taste lemongrass and other ingredients.  Phad Thai kip was also not tasty, can only taste very sweet and a little peanut butter. In general, the food ingredients did not taste fresh. Their price is not expensive, just its quality and its portion are not reflecting its price.

We recently dined here, mainly because it was conveniently located nearby. The interior of the restaurant was quite small and quaint, which added to the overall dining experience. The flavors in the dishes were delicious, and I appreciated that they brought an extra bowl of chili peppers so I could adjust the spiciness to my liking. However, there were a few downsides to the dining experience. Since the chili peppers were not cooked in the sauce, the flavor of the dishes changed significantly if I used a lot of them. Additionally, the service was extremely slow, as there was only one waiter working. During our time at the restaurant, we saw one table walk out and heard another complaining about the wait. Although the food was good, it was also quite expensive compared to what I'm used to paying for Thai cuisine. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you're in the area and in the mood for Thai food, but be prepared for a slow and potentially expensive meal.

One of the best Thai Restaurants in the Netherlands, probably in Europe as well. Thai cuisine is one of my all time favorite ones, and I must say, the taste and authenticity of subtle flavours are excellent. The items are not too costly, all curry items come in with traditional sticky rice ( which is unlimited and can be ordered multiple times). The staff are super friendly and is always looking out for any requests by customers. Plan to book in advance, I have observed offlate, getting a table slot is quite tough given the place is a small one. But it's worth it!

Cozy little restaurant on a quieter side street of Amsterdam city center, serving delicious authentic Thai food. Well worth a visit after a long day of exploring and getting lost through the canals.
This place ruined the Pad Thai from my local back home for me, and I don't regret it!
