My favourite book shop. Ever. A great selection of books and genres, very reasonably priced. Lovely place to be, feels like you've stepped into another world.

A bit intimidating to navigate, but thats part of the charm for sure! The selection is extensive and somehow this was the only place (out of all the book stores that I'd been to) I could find Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment? The prices are enough to make any book buyer salivate, would love to come back next time I'm in Wellington!

If you are a vinyl collectionist, then you need to visit this place. They have an extensive, yet affordable collection of vinyls, and I was glad to see that they are following the government mandates. Will come back for sure!

Great experience for my daughter and I, trying on ball dresses. Super helpful, friendly, kind and knowledgeable. She felt comfortable and in good hands, and was happy about positive conversation that happened between staff in the background. Good vibes.
No pressure, great range of clothes and more. Haven’t bought yet, and maybe not this time, as other things have come up, but will definitely be back and spread the word. Thanks so much for an enjoyable experience!

I brought my wedding dress from here and the ladies were so helpful and wonderful, they made the whole experience super fun and gave me lots of suggestions, compliments and help with fitting the dresses and what jewlerry to wear with it. I highly recommend! Some beautiful vintage stuff!

Can’t believe I haven’t left a 5 star review sooner. This is the best vintage store in Aotearoa, packed with beautiful pre loved pieces!

I found the lady who worked there really rude. She made me feel uncomfortable and feel bad about my size. The way she spoke to me made me feel like she thought she was better than me. Not impressed.

Interesting to read such a mix of reviews. I didn't have any problems with the two staff members who were there when I was in this week. They weren't friendly but weren't unfriendly. And yes, the prices are high. While the t-shirts might have been $600 to start with, $300 is still very expensive (as an example of the prices I saw). And some of the cheap brands were very overpriced, and you'd get them cheaper on sale but new. But it is fun to have a browse and an eclectic selection and while I didn't see it at first, my husband found an incredible Dsquared2 shirt for me, which, at $85 (new, it would be around $700 I think) was an absolute STEAL.

I recently shopped online with Emporium and received A+ service from start to finish.  This included that when my courier package went missing (which wasn't Emporium's mistake) I had Deb from Emporium's team helping me find it immediately! Loved the Dolphin's t-shirt I got also, thanks team!

This shop is amazing such a cool vibe! Nothing like it in Auckland.  Down in Wellington for a weekend and found this shop full of vintage tees, jeans and lots more from the States and reasonable prices. Staff were awesome, def check it out!

Fantastic online service on multiple occasions. Have purchased several Rude Riders tops over time and would buy again. Looking forward to visiting in person in the near future.
