The Heineken Experience is housed in the first built Heineken brewery in the city centre of Amsterdam. In 1988 the brewery closed due to inability to meet high demand and since 1991 it has been welcoming visitors from all over the world. Self-guided tour of approximately 1.5 hours and It is our recommedation. Also, Audio tour is available in 9 different languages. The Tour is a self-guided interactive journey through the world of Heineken®. You can discover the history of the HEINEKEN Company, the 4 natural ingredients of our beer, the brewing process, a tasting room, the Heineken® brand and the partnerships with UEFA Champions League and Rugby World Cup. And of course at the end of the tour you can enjoy 2 Heinekens or learn how to draught the perfect Heineken®.

The rooms are so unique, and perfect in every way. the staff are extremely friendly, and the included breakfast is the best in Amsterdam. This was my 5th stay at the Canal House and I will be back for many more.

Anne Frank House

The Anne Frank House is a museum with a history. It lies in the centre of Amsterdam and features the secret annex where Anne Frank wrote her famous diary during the Second World War. The Anne Frank House is a writer's house and biographical museum dedicated to Jewish wartime diarist Anne Frank. During World War II, Anne Frank hid from Nazi persecution with her family and four other people in hidden rooms at the rear of the 17th-century canal house, known as the Secret Annex. She did not survive the war but her wartime diary was published in 1947. Ten years later the Anne Frank Foundation was established to protect the property from developers who wanted to demolish the block. The museum opened on 3 May 1960. It preserves the hiding place, has a permanent exhibition on the life and times of Anne Frank, and has an exhibition space about all forms of persecution and discrimination.
